35 Leva (17.50 Euro) for a single person per night with shared bathroom.
40 Leva (20.00 Euro) for a single person per night with en-suite private bathroom.
50 Leva (25.00 Euro) for 2 people sharing one room per night with shared bathroom.
60 leva (30 Euro) for 3 people sharing one room per night with shared bathroom.
70 Leva (35 Euro) for 4 people sharing one room per night.

This area of the house has a room with 5 beds, and 2 rooms both with single beds. This can now be booked as one unit sleeping 7 people together, and giving them their own bathroom solely for their use - 100 Leva (50 Euro per night) 7.14 Euros each. This area is accessed from the foyer and key to this door will be given making this a great place for you to sleep and relax.
Bunk beds are starting to be put into place in some rooms, this will change our room formats in some of the rooms, website will be updated when major room changes are made.
Fold up beds are available if your party requires them, please check for prices.

All rooms have cable TV, and there is a guest computer set up in the foyer with high-speed broadband, and the building has its own secure Wi-fi network.

The English guest house is situated right in the very centre of Ruse, Bulgaria. Turning right out of the gate it will take you literally 60 seconds to the tranquil banks of the River Danube (Dunav), turning left will again take literally 120 seconds to enter the main square. The Vibrant heart of Ruse city.
The banks of the river are a haven for fishermen and women, a lively port area with small ships and boats passing all day.
The main square is simply wonderful, tree lined boulevards, cafe bars, shops, fountains, statues and some of the best Rococo architecture in Europe
The Hotel was refurbished in 2010, and although this work was done the original style of the building was retained.
All interior furnishings are brand new, but in a colour that matches the decor.
Very high ceilings, with mouldings, huge doors, large windows making the house worthy of the name Mansion.
In its history it was the Ruse town residence of Todor Zhivkov, before becoming The English guest house (Please click Here to read about the man.), and now is an haven for weary travellers, or people who come to explore this beautiful city with its history, architecture and friendly people.
The most modern addition to the building is that it is wi-fi enabled, with fax machines and copiers for those on business, at times office computers will be made available for those wishing to keep in touch with friends and family, or just catch up on emails.
There is now a computer set up in the foyer which is for guest use.
On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and x6 Bedrooms sharing two bathrooms., attic bedrooms will be ready by mid 2010.
The rooms are a mix of doubles, twins, singles, as well as options for 3,4,5 and 7 people.
All rooms have curtains as well as nets, double glazed windows are fitted with fly screens.
Beds are comfortable, linen and towels are supplied free of charge.
Each room has its own TV with cable channels.
There are lamps, mirrors, wardrobes etc to make your stay with us enjoyable and give that feeling of being at home, which is something we work hard on to achieve.
The garden has table with parasol and chairs allowing us all to sit and talk in the evenings with a hot or cold drink.
Tea, coffee and cereals are supplied free of charge although there is an honesty box for those wishing to contribute.
Cold drinks, beer, wine etc can be purchased cheaply.
We will do our very best to ensure your stay with us is trouble free, restful and enjoyable.
For those wishing to explore our incredible rock monasteries and churches, as well as Rusenski lom UNESCO park and the other wonderful places of interest in and around Ruse we can arrange trips at nominal cost.
For all attractions, sights, monuments, churches, museums etc we have now started to include the distance from the guest-house to there, on each of there relevant pages.
The majority of our business is from online booking sites, which affords us the pleasure of meeting people of many different nationalities. Back-packers, cyclists, walkers etc.
As far as we are aware we are the only accommodation in Ruse that offers triple rooms, as we advertise that fact we have now been asked in if we have rooms to sleep 4 or even possibly 5, well the answer now is, yes we do.

We now have an extra triple room, so the choice is yours, 1 person, 2 people, 3 people, 4 people and now 5 people possible in our bedrooms.
One final thing, we never put strangers together, so if you book a single room you have it.
The Guest house is the closest thing you will find to a hostel within Ruse.
Our prices are the same, but accommodation is better.

As most businesses in this economic meltdown we have to do our best to weather the storm.
